Guided Walking History Tour

of Traverse City

Now in our 4th year!

We begin and end each tour at the Perry Hannah Plaza - at the NW corner of Sixth & Union Streets.

Our walking tour is a 2 & 1/2 hour, 2 mile stroll through the historic neighborhoods and waterfront of Traverse City.  The tour is free, gratuities are appreciated.

Tours begin at 2 PM every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our 2019 regular season has ended, but we continue to offer "Tours by Request."  Click here to learn more!

Weather:
Of course we like nice days for our tours, but Mother Nature still has the final say.  A light rain or drizzle won't stop us,
but any dangerous weather (lightning, heavy rain, high winds, etc.) will mean a cancellation of our tour.

If moderate to heavy rain is imminent, our tour is canceled.

Free!
Our tours are free and open to everyone.  However, our tour guides rely on your generosity at the conclusion of the tour.  Typical gratuities are $10 per person, but
are entirely up to the individual.

"Very informative and enlightening tour. Steve did a great job of conveying our local history. Friendly, knowledgeable and nice way to spend the afternoon. Thanks again."   Melani P., Traverse City
