"Very informative and enlightening tour. Steve did a great job of conveying our local history. Friendly, knowledgeable and nice way to spend the afternoon. Thanks again."   Melani P., Traverse City

Time & Distance
The tour is about 2 &1/2 hours of walking over a two mile route, with a rest stop at the Traverse City Visitors Center.  The walk includes stairs, and as such, it may not be suited for those with walking or stamina issues.  However, with some advance notification, accommodations can be made.

Of course we like nice days for our tours, but Mother Nature still has the final say.  A light rain or drizzle won't stop us, but any dangerous weather (lightning, heavy rain, high winds, etc.) will mean a cancellation of our tour.

We have experienced that our tour is not appealing to children under 15.
Please, No Strollers.  Extra Please .... No Cellphones!
